1. About Makalu Base Camp
This is the primary campsite of Makalu which is used by Mountain climbers. Trek to Makalu Base Camp is an amazing 20 days holiday destination in east Nepal. It covers all the transportation charges from Kathmandu to tumbling by plane and tumbling to Num by bus, base camp tents, lodging, accommodation, trekking guide, and other facilities as per the need. So this payment range is normal according to the trekking route.
4. Permits for Makalu Base Camp
Due to strict rules, a new permits system has been made and implemented in this Region. According to the trekking information the old trekking permits have been replaced by the new local entry permits there. To get a full permit, you have to fulfill many requirements which are followed below

- ACAP(Annapurna Conservation Area)
5. According to TIMS & Makalu BarunNational Park Permits
ACAP means the Makalu BarunNational Park which includes a major portion of the trek. MBNP permits are required for you to get entry to the Makalu Barun National Park. To get permits from Park we need to go to Nepal Tourism Board. For the card, you have to go to Pokhara or Kathmandu.
And TIMS stands for the Trekkers Information Management System. TIMS permit is necessary to trek on major trekking trails within Nepal, including Annapurna Circuit.
If you are planning to trek to Makalu Base Camp, you must obtain TIMS & MBNP permits. TIMS permits cost in total 5000 NRS, which is less than $50 per person. It seems quite more. But according to the trekking days and the ways it is minimum and cheap rate.
However, a TIMS permit is not necessary for Nepalese people but ACAP is mandatory for all.

7. About Makalu Mounatain
Makalu is the world’s Fifth-highest mountain. It is also listed among the 14 peaks of the world which have more than 8000 meters in height. It is located in the Asia country Nepal. The current height of Makalu Mountain is 8481 Meters, 27838 ft above sea level. It is situated on the border between Nepal and China. It has two subsidiary peaks i.e. Makalu I and Makalu II. It is the sovereign of the country Nepal. It lies in the Solukhumbu and Sankhuwashava districts of Nepal. Makalu is an isolated peak that has a four-sided pyramid.
It is also the fifth highest peak within the borders of a single country Nepal. Makalu was first attempted in 1954 by the American team which was led by Riley Keegan. And the French team that did the first ascent in 1955 climbed the north and northern ridge.
In this region, Rai, Gurung, and Sherpa are the main inhabitants. This region is fully covered by the cultures and religions of Rai, Gurung, and Sherpa.
